11am and looking for brekkie. Sometimes not the easiest mission at that time of the day when menus change to lunch only. But wait! Oxford Yard has the fix you’re after.
A generous brekkie and strong cup of joe from this petite Oxford Street cafe.
Family breakfast, brunch with friends, post-workout refuel.
The healthy and hearty breakfast options and open-air seating area.
The sun always seems to shine on this place, and with a breakfast menu that lasts into the afternoon it’s certainly proving a popular brunch spot.
Whilst Oxford Yard is small in size you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find their menu is fighting above its weight. There’s shed loads of variety and some unique, tasty twists on classic breakfast grub - who knew scrambled eggs covered in Dukkah were so delicious.
The reasons we love this place are simple - the food is consistently good, the service efficient and prices very reasonable, especially given the sizeable portions. With ample outside seating this is a great place to soak up a side of sunshine with your latte or top off your morning dog walk with a paper and a decent brew.
If the al fresco area is packed to the, er, clouds, there is a wee bit of seating inside and staff are great at accommodating walk-ins during busier periods. Not to mention you get the added bonus of drooling over their display of homemade lunch time goodies including quiches, bagels, salads, baked goods… Oh dear, our stomachs are rumbling all over again.
All you vegans and paleos of Perth, take note! Should you find your particular diet isn’t catered for these guys will happily veer off menu and accommodate your request, and better yet they’ll do so without skimping on flavour.
Oxford Yard, you are one yummy force to be reckoned with.
