Down on the edge of the Swan River with live music delivered by local lovelies The Preatures, made this is perfectly definitive Perth arvo.
Soaking up the riverside ambience accompanied by the sweet, sweet sounds of The Preatures.
Cosmopolitan culture, drinks with the ladies, sophisticated sundays and date nights.
The deck - Picturesque suntrap by day, romantic hotspot by night.
One of our fave local bands, The Preatures, recently embarked on a small Aussie tour of 20 unplugged shows for free. Free! I know, that was our reaction too. This was our perfect reason to throw Sunday plans out the window, and to the Swan River we headed hoping to catch a glimpse.
Enter Aqua Bar, not only the perfect spot to catch a glimpse of Isabella Manfredi doing her vocal thang, but the perfect venue for a scorching Sunday afternoon. Seriously, we need to do this more often. A prime slice of riverside real estate, you need to get in on a piece of this action.
Exploding onto the music scene over the past couple of years, these Venusers are big fans of The Preatures and Sunday arvo couldn’t come fast enough. We scurried through the city to the waterfront to see them at Aqua Bar on Barrack St Jetty.
We were keen to find the perfect viewing spot, somewhere to enjoy the action without being crushed and still making the most of the weekend sunshine. Aqua Bar delivered. Why on earth hadn’t we hit up this spot earlier? We do not know because this is a prime riverside location! The view, the sunshine, the romance, you just wanna soak it all up.
Decor inside is luxe with black and silver colours delivering a piano bar meets swanky hotel style set.
On the food menu you’ll find a whole list of lovely bites designed to share in the sun or shade.
Looking for a romantic date night spot then put this place at the top of your list. We couldn’t have found a better place.
