We have driven past this bustling cafe on the way to City Beach too many times now. It was time to pop in to see what all the fuss was about.
Bustling place for a relaxed coffee and breakfast experience.
People travelling to (or from!) the beach craving a coffee and breakfast wrap.
Locals and visitors to Floreat looking for an informal place to meet.
Sitting in the early morning sun.
The minimalist decor and uncluttered experience.
Apparently popular. We certainly didn’t expect to find ourselves short of a table just after 7am on a Sunday. A brief wait, and soon enough the perfect window spot became available.
A little banter, some cheeky high fives. The staff were friendly and helpful, and appeared as though they all loved coming to work!
The coffee was on point. We went straight for the truth - its very hard to hide behind an Espresso. Smooth and served with sparkling water, the barista this day knew her stuff.
The menu was broad with dishes easily able to be made gluten free, dairy free or vegan. Lots of flavour, well presented with little to be desired.
Someday has a crisp, honest aesthetic that lets the display fridge and the coffee do the talking. The cakes, pastries and breakfast wraps all looked divine - all made in-house, a nice bonus!
